School has many good qualities that get overlooked

I find that the school has many good, caring teachers and staff, state of the art facilities, and many students dedicated to the task of becoming successful contributors to society. I’ve also found many parents involved in their child’s education and after school activities. The school has experienced a lot of leadership turnaround, but the end results appear to be positive for the students. The JRNOTC program continues to provide an awesome forum for students whom may otherwise go down a wrong path. The school has its challenges as there are many families facing economic difficulties, and unfortunately, many of these students are challenges for teachers and staff in terms of class disruptions and, on occasion, fighting. However, many successful measures have been put in place to deal with these distractions. With continued proper parent/teacher involvement, interest and care, Lithonia students should continue on a road to success.
